SMOKER QUEEN SMOKEHOUSE BARBECUE WITH A PRIZE IN THE BBQ COMPETITION FOR AMATEURS

In the historic 15th century Castle, located on a hill on the Narew River in Pultusk, the jubilee 10th edition of the National Culinary Competition Polish Cuisine Yesterday and Today took place. The originator and organizer of this event is the chef at the Lord Hotel in Warsaw – Stefan Birek.

SMOKER was the sponsor of the main prize in the amateur contest, which took place under the patronage of the Polish Barbecue Association and BBQ.

In addition to the main Culinary Competition Polish Cuisine Yesterday and Today, which was attended by professionals and students, well-known and popular actors, journalists and artists also showed their culinary skills. The correctness of the barbecue competition for amateurs was supervised by the Polish Grill& BBQ Association under the leadership of its President Grzegorz Kazubski. The barbecue masters also gave interesting advice on the correct barbecue.

By the decision of the jury, they won in particular categories:

Motorcyclists Honda Goldwing First place Dorota and Marek Kowalski, who received the main prize Grillo Smoker Queen with a special commemorative logo, funded by SMOKER. It is a combination of grill, smokehouse and BBQ in one professional and solidly made equipment. The value of the prize is about 5.900 PLN. The award was personally handed over to the winners by Leszek Kosarzecki, owner of SMOKER.

Second place was taken by Viola and Krzysztof Grobelny, and third place was taken by Marek Tłuszczak and Monika Morawska.

Honorary patronage over the competition was taken by the Minister of the Environment – Henryk Kowalczyk and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development – Krzysztof Jurgiel.
